Cyberpunk 2077: Weapons, Backstories Revealed; Plus Bringing Johnny’s Samurai to Life

The hype train keeps chugging as CD PROJEKT RED dishes out not one, not two, but THREE new teasers for the much awaited game Cyberpunk 2077! These were all featured in Episode 2 of Night City Wire earlier today.

Choose Your Story

The Lifepaths featurette previews the different backstories players can choose for V — the main character of Cyberpunk 2077. Each path introduces Night City from different angles, and influences V’s experiences throughout the game.

This aspect alone enhances Cyberpunk’s replay value tenfold. How many times do you think you’ll want to finish the game?

I AM the Weapon

Tools of Destruction boasts the wide variety of weapons players can wield in the game. Guns, melee weapons, and cyberware enhancements are demonstrated in the video below, and that’s not even all of it.

Now give me unlimited ammo…

There’s a real band performing behind the in-game chrome rock legends SAMURAI, and that is Swedish hardcore punk band Refused. Brief intro in case you missed it: Johnny Silverhand is the lead singer.

The band members share their thoughts on how they transformed to bring the in-game band to life.
